SmartStack Guide is an independent review and comparison site focused entirely on software for small businesses — not enterprise, not developers, not Fortune 500 teams.
Most software review sites are either pay-to-play ranking lists or thin AI-generated pages stuffed with affiliate links. We built SmartStack Guide to be different: every review is independently researched, every price is manually verified, and every recommendation is honest — including the downsides.
We cover CRM, email marketing, project management, accounting, customer support, and more. Each category is reviewed with the same question in mind: would a 10-person team actually use this every day?
How we make money
Some links on SmartStack Guide are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every page that contains affiliate links. We never accept payment to change a review score or ranking position.
How we stay accurate
Pricing and features are re-verified every 90 days using an automated audit system. When something changes — a price increase, a dropped feature, a new plan — we update it before it misleads anyone. Every review shows the date it was last verified.
What we won't do
- — Accept paid placements or "sponsored" top rankings
- — Recommend a tool we wouldn't use ourselves
- — Write vague pros like "great UI" without specifics
- — Hide a major downside because a vendor is an affiliate
